Write Like Your Pen Is On Fire

Write like your pen is on fire

Write passionately, intensely, feverishly. Write under the influence of your muse, in whatever magical form she takes.

Write with burning desire. Pour your fire onto the page. Release those bright, evocative images that flare inside you.

Write by the light of what fascinates you. Write fast, as if angry — at the pain, at the heartbreak, at that which terrifies and haunts you.

Write to keep the darkness at bay. Write to battle the shadows with the burning symbols of your story.

The time to write is now. Go forth. Now.  Your pen is burning down to the wick.
